The livelihood of the highland Quechua people begins and ends with alpacas. Quechua Benefit has a plan to increase alpaca-related income sources by 25% over three years. One way this is accomplished is by training women to hand spin yarn for the international market. Your purchase of alpaca products sustains this program that improves the standard of living for women and children in Peru.

Quechua Benefit believes that a quality education is the surest way to break the cycle of poverty. Casa Chapi, Quechua Benefit’s school and private boarding house, provides education to children in remote areas without access to school. One of Quechua Benefit’s greatest strengths is the ability to deliver preventative medicine to cure the root cause of the world’s second largest disease: anemia. Our goal is to cure anemia in 70% of all pregnant mothers and children through the twelfth grade. Your support enables us to provide these life-changing treatments.
