"I wanted to thank you again for a great weekend.  We wanted information and that is exactly what we got and lots of it! I greatly appreciate that we were able to attend the seminar and at no point in time were we approached or pressured about buying Alpacas. That was a relief and it gave us the opportunity to focus on getting educated so that we can make well informed decisions when the time is right."

The hospitality was wonderful and we felt spoiled while on our visit…

Thank you again! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! We look forward to an ongoing relationship.

"It was more than I could have hoped for.  I came away from this seminar with a vast array of knowledge, more than I started with. There are many seminars out there for herd management and neonatal care (which are important), but very few that I have experienced that helps farms decide what they want to breed for and how to do it. Also, I was so impressed with the level of care and thoughtfulness that was shown to me. You guys thought of everything! The facility was comfortable and the atmosphere was conducive to learning. I have an extensive background in marketing and am aware of what it takes to “pull off” a successful seminar. You did that! I never felt pressured to do anything. The information was there for me to decide how to use it to my benefit. I also thank you for the hospitality. The food was fabulous… The scientific approach that you have put together for the alpaca community is impressive. There are so many “opinions” out there that it was quite refreshing to hear facts. The generosity of what you are offering the alpaca community by way of the Ideal Alpaca Community is overwhelming. For a small breeder (like myself), it is hard to compete with the larger, better funded farms. You have leveled the playing field. I have come away with a new excitement and hopefulness that I can create the farm of my dreams! By not promoting a personal agenda and basing your entire seminar on scientific data, you created an atmosphere for the exchange of ideas. I was able to ask question and receive information based on facts, not opinion. I now have an understanding of “breed standards” that many on the east coast have been fearful of and am wondering what all the fuss has been about. I am very glad that I participated in your seminar. I appreciate the generosity that you have shown by all the work you have put into developing the EPD’s. I feel that this is an incredibly valuable tool to evaluate my herd. I understand that some may see it as threatening, but I see it as a tool to improve my herd. I look forward to working with you in the future. It is my desire to continue to learn from your expertise."

"I thoroughly enjoyed your workshop.  I will be happy to recommend it [seminar] to any of my clients. I walked away with invaluable tips about diversification and channeling my sales more effectively. Tips for continuous improvement to upgrade my herd were also valuable. Fred's business plan was very concise... I am thrilled with his straightforward tips. Honestly, both of your presentations truly compliment one another -- just a great program."

"You are both pros, and it must feel great to be able to continue to contribute to this industry, as you have for so many years. Your workshop and a book of this kind are second to none. I intend to provide my new clients with your book upon purchasing their animals. "

"A Supercharging weekend.  Phenotype is out and homozygosity is in! Thank you for adding to my knowledge of alpacas so effectively. This morning I spent some time analyzing your web site and must admit to being impressed. In particular the book section which I wish I had discovered much earlier. It would have speeded my decision making immensely. Once again, a most enjoyable, intense and very informative seminar -- which I value highly -- in a setting with a delightful host. "

"Your seminar was of the very top rank.  You and Alan have done a superb job. Your presentation skills, the informal shirtsleeve atmosphere, timing, and variety of topics were simply great. "

"Mike has been a huge resource.  My wife Christine and I attended the very first NWA Seminar and were introduced to people, information and ideas that fundamentally changed our understanding of breeding alpacas. Mike has been a huge resource to us as newcomers to the industry, and we're most grateful for their friendly advice - and for accepting us as joint owners of one of their best herdsires! "
