Course Description:

This free seminar is the perfect learning experience for anyone who is interested in the daily routine on an alpaca farm and if available accompany our team along with the vet during his scheduled visit and experience everyday basics of animal care.

SCHEDULE

9:00AM until approx 1:00PM

VETERINARIAN CARE: With Dr. Paul Jones DVM and the staff of Northwest Alpacas.

Observe medical procedures that may include the following:

Ultrasounds
Blood Draws
Gelding
Wound care

Hands on with the staff of Northwest Alpacas:

You will learn how to:

Trim your alpacas toe nails
Micro chip your alpacas
Ear tag your alpacas
De-worm your alpacas
Vaccinate your alpacas

12:30PM

Break for lunch

2:00PM until approx 4:00PM

Those that desire to return after lunch may schedule a tour of the ranch with Fred Kraft.
