Northwest Alpacas announces new program for
Alpaca Breeders

The Alpaca MANAGER

 Marketing and Sales

1. Your Alpaca is evaluated, assessed, photographed and priced based on the current market and will be listed on one of the most powerful and successful websites, Alpacas.com.
2. 20% commission to Northwest Alpacas payable at the time of sale.
3. Sales contract may include financing terms up to 4 years in duration.
4. 8% interest will be charged on all sales contracts in excess of 1 year with interest collected paid to Boarder. NWA will collect and account for all contract sales.
5. $500 one time fee for listing each alpaca.

 Agistment Services

1. Agistment - $3.50 per day. Cria underfoot are free of charge for the first 90 days after birth. Agistment to start on the 90th day anniversary of their birth.
2. Birthing fee - $250 which includes FTA card, BVDV, IgG, Microchip, Vaccinations, Vet evaluation.
3. Includes the same standard of care given to the NWA herd.
4. On farm veterinary care is included.
5. Off farm veterinary services are extra.

 National branding and internet strategy

1. All alpacas managed by NWA will be marketed on Alpacas.com and Ideal-Alpaca.com.
2. Each alpaca will have a listing on the for sale page of alpacas.com.
3. Each alpaca will be marketed through emails, seminars and website listings.

 Alpaca husbandry care

1. Expert veterinary care provided by Dr. Paul Jones, a recognized, 30 year, Camelid specialist and his staff.
2. Professional care provided by the highly trained staff of Northwest Alpacas.
3. Complete online health care records.

 Genetic improvement EPD program

1. All alpacas will be shorn, fleece samples taken and submitted to Yocom-McColl Fiber Testing Laboratories for histograms and EPDs.
2. Boarded alpacas will have their EPD numbers displayed on the Ideal Alpaca Community website as well as Alpacas.com.
3. Breedings available to Studmaster males at special package prices.

 Expert advice, valuation and breeding

1. Expert evaluation of your alpacas by Mike Safley a recognized international expert in judging and evaluating alpaca herds and his experienced long term staff.
2. Breeding decisions may be made by boarder with the guidance of our highly trained, experienced ranch staff.
3. Alpacas will be evaluated, priced and sold at the best price possible based on market trends.

 Record keeping and registry services

1. Northwest Alpacas maintains a sophisticated and complete alpaca husbandry database.
2. Clients can log into www.alpacas.com and view their alpaca’s current breeding status, histogram statistics, medical records etc.
3. Alpaca registration services are included, updated and maintained on a daily basis.
